Do you believe in angels? Or perhaps you prefer to call them spirit guides? Regardless of the name used, you can be certain that you have a spirit team of divinity watching over you right now. And even if you do not believe in angels or spirit guides, they are still there. Your divine team is always looking out for and attempting to guide you.
The one responsibility of your spirit team is to help you (and the other humans they watch over) stay on your highest path until you awaken to recognize your own inner wisdom.

Angels Guide You Until You Gain Clear Inner Knowing
Your angels or spirit guides are with you to guide you. Once you recognize your own inner wisdom, which is the higher self or divine guidance that is within you, you will recognize less communication from your spirit team. Do not be surprised as this is how it is meant to work.
They do not go away and forget about you, of course. They are always nearby, if you need them. But their primary role is to help keep you on track until you are spiritually awake and able to receive guidance directly from your inner wisdom. Once you awaken, they can focus on other people who require their stewarding, knowing that you are well guided.
How Your Angels or Spirit Guides Communicate
Your angels or spirit guides often work quietly in the background. You might not even realize when they are intervening on your behalf.
Some of the ways they send messages include:
- Synchronicities: Unexpected opportunities or perfectly timed encounters that nudge you forward on your path or help you navigate through a difficult time.
- Symbolic Signs: Seeing repeated number sequences (often called angel numbers) or meaningful symbols is a way they communicate encouragement.
- Nature Messages: Animals crossing your path or showing up at just the right moment. If you become aware of animal symbolism, they will send you encouragement in this manner.
- Divination Tools: Card decks (tarot, oracle, or animal cards) that provide messages that offer guidance in your current situation.
You do not need to develop an understanding of all of these tools. Your spirit team will use anything available that you explore. Once you notice and receive their message, they will continue to use that particular method to get through to you. If you stay observant and curious, you will notice more and more guidance coming to you from your spirit team.
You Still Have Free Will
Some people wonder if having divine guidance means losing free choice, but one does not exclude the other. You will always have both.
Your angels or spirit guides can leave breadcrumbs and point you toward opportunities, but you always choose whether to follow them. Ignoring the signs and synchronicities is always your choice. In fact, most people do ignore them. Unfortunately, this leads to not living their full potential and taking the most fulfilling path.
Trust You Are Always Supported
If you have been unable to develop your intuition or inner knowing, you are still being supported. Often we receive information from our intuition long before we recognize that is what it is. While you develop and learn to trust your skill of intuition, your angels or spirit guides will continue to send you signals and synchronicities.
As you grow spiritually and strengthen your inner wisdom, you will rely less on these outside messages; but your spirit team will continue to always be there offering love and their gentle guidance whenever needed. You just need to recognize that they are there.
